JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Quality Engineer – Position #1
We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join our Fiber Optic Engineering team.
The Senior Quality Engineer will provide product-testing assistance to the Global Connectivity Solutions organization. This person will develop, implement and continually improve product evaluation methods. In addition, this person will assure new product designs and processes, or re-designed products and processes meet or exceed customer and company quality expectations. This individual will ensure that product design documentation complies with internal and external customer requirements. The Senior Quality Engineer will also lead quality improvement efforts by forming and facilitating improvement teams.

Responsibilities will include the following:
Utilize expertise in product testing to provide solutions to testing needs. If necessary purchase equipment, write software, design fixturing, and develop new test methods to meet needs.
Develop, maintain and improve general lab data acquisition, data analysis, and test method capabilities.
Participate in product development team efforts.
Lead quality improvement efforts by identifying opportunities, and then forming and facilitating improvement teams.
Apply advanced methods to improve quality and reliability data analysis where appropriate.
Pursue self-development through advanced training in fiber optics, quality, reliability, measurement, inspection, manufacturing, and other specific product and industry technologies relevant to the job.
Perform basic budgeting, scheduling and personnel tasks as requested by the manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in engineering.
Broad technical knowledge within applicable areas of expertise including product applications and basic market knowledge.
Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience.
Experience with fiber optics and fiber optic test equipment.
Familiarity with standards such as Telcordia GR-326 for fiber optic connectors, GR-1209 for passive optical components, GR-20 and 409 for optical fiber and cable, and EIA/TIA fiber optic test procedures.
Programming experience with Visual Basic and LabView.
Local, out-of-state, and international travel may be required infrequently.
POSITION: Senior Automation Engineer – Position #2
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer to join our World Wide Manufacturing Operations in the MidWest.
The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, detailing, and implementing automated equipment, which improves the manufacturing process. This person will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams that justify and develop automation opportunities in the manufacturing process.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum seven to ten years working as an Automation Engineer developing automated manufacturing equipment.
Ability to work with either AutoCAD (Mechanical desk top) or Pro Engineering.
Working knowledge of Visual Basic, Oracle, or C++
Working knowledge of industrial controller programming
Proven track record of implementing automation in a manufacturing environment
Ability to lead cross-functional teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in fiber optic manufacturing is desirable
POSITION: Sr. Hardware Engineer/Circuit Design Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior Hardware Engineer – Position #3
We are seeking a Sr. Hardware Engineer to join our Wireline team based the MidWest.
The Sr. Hardware Engineer functions as a key technical resource in the definition, architecture, design and implementation of product designs of significant technical complexity. This person will perform detailed-level design activities, including but not limited to: writing low-level design specifications and hardware/software interface specifications, FPGA coding, schematic capture, logic synthesis, algorithm analysis, simulation, real time performance profiling, printed circuit board layout, testing, design verification, preparing for and conducting design reviews.
Other responsibilities include:
Perform high-level system architecture and high-level module design for new product designs of moderate and significant technical complexity.
Authors system architecture and high-level design specifications.
Provide technical assistance to other hardware and software Engineers in the ODM model and supporting a multi-product portfolio in the DS-1 (E1), DS-3, serial data, and Ethernet data technology space.
Legacy analog circuit designing

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, plus 10 years related experience.
Advanced Engineering degree is desirable.
10% international (China and Taiwan) and domestic) travel may be required.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Senior RF Project Engineer
We are seeking a RF Senior Project Engineer to join our Wireless team 

Responsibilities will include the following:
The RF Senior Project Engineer will manage a product line within the design engineering department in the Wireless Division while providing leadership and direction to junior engineers.
Responsibilities include leading and managing new product development, defining specifications, working with OEM/ODM’s, coordinating cross-functional meetings and supporting existing products.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
Strong organization and communication skills along with demonstrated leadership ability a must.
5+ years experience in RF circuit/system design
Cavity Filter design experience preferred.
Analog and Digital design experience desirable.
3+ years experience in engineering project management
Subcontractor/vendor management experience desirable.
10% International and Domestic travel may be required.
