POSITION: Senior Project Engineer-Advanced – Position#1
 
We are seeking an Advanced Project Engineer to join our Development Engineering organization within the Global Connectivity Systems business unit.
 
Responsibilities will include the following:
Responsible for providing leadership and direction in design for manufacturability, production processes, tooling, and identifying test equipment required to manufacture product designs. 
Assist with further product development support of traditional FTTX projects at a design level as well as at a process / project management level and manage and/or implement the activities required to introduce these products into manufacturing. 
Responsible for Identifying and recommending manufacturing technologies to strategically develop business objectives and improvement opportunities.

 
REQUIREMENTS:

DESCRIPTION:
 
We are looking for a Senior Project Engineer – Quality for our manufacturing facility.
 
The Senior Project Engineer-Quality will develop and sustain a Quality system to support for the efficient and quality build of products for the NPI Fiber Department.  Plans, develops, implements, and maintains plant organizational policies and goals.  The Project Engineer will also be responsible for significant efforts of the group on influencing new designs.  The Project Engineer will provide a work environment that is knowledgeable, efficient and motivating. Manages associated projects of varying complexity.

 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
Provides support to the manufacturing floor to assist them in meeting their goals of on-time delivery, cost and quality of all products.
Lead quality improvement teams to reduce customer notifications.
Coordinate product/process audits and the qualification of new products and processes.
Lead cross-functional quality teams in problem solving or improvement initiatives.
Work with Design Teams to ensure product and processes are transferable to high volume production
Perform plant audits facilities worldwide.
Develop and analyze DOE’s and utilize statistical methods for data analysis.
Coordinate plant audits to ensure adherence of processes to company standards.
Direct FMEA teams to predict potential design related issues and provide communication to the design team.

Supply Chain Quality Assurance Manager – Position #3

We are seeking a Supply Chain Quality Assurance Manager team located to lead our global supplier quality organization.

Responsibilities will include the following:

Schedule and conduct on-site quality system, product and process audits at domestic and international suppliers.
Manage supplier corrective action plans and verify implementation.
Support new and existing production start-ups at domestic and international supplier locations.
Lead and facilitate Continuous Improvement efforts at suppliers, through training activities.
Provide Quality System support for Incoming Quality Assurance and material Reviews.
Initiate process control plans and evaluate changes prior to new product implementation.

REQUIREMENTS:

Four-Year Degree in Business or Engineering
8 years + experience in supplier management
Master’s Degree in Business preferred
Lean manufacturing experience
Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred

Lead Time Enablement Leader – Position#4
 
The Lead Time Enablement Leader will be responsible to identify, plan, and manage cross-functional projects to improve customer’s order-to-delivery lead time for the company.
 
Responsibilities will include the following:
 
Develop methodology and lead process to prioritize lead time improvement opportunities for maximum benefit in customer’s experience and company’s competitive position.
Establish and lead product line focused pilot teams and projects within the Americas region and report progress periodically to GCS leadership.
Develop and hold workshops with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Product Management, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Distribution, and Logistics) to identify gaps in current LT performance and initiatives / levers to improve lead time performance including DFM, inventory safety stocks, Lean Manufacturing Batch size, Planning, Quality, Setup time reduction, Supplier Lead Time reduction, Supplier Consignment/VMI, etc.
Monitor progress of portfolio shaping initiative and maintain master data for market and demonstrated lead times.
Identify and share best planning practices in SAP regarding capacity and scheduling.
Share initiative frameworks, processes, and learning with other regional LT improvement Leaders in EMEA and APAC.
Coordinate with and serve on cross- functional teams (including CCT core team), acting as change agent in support of cultural and GCS transformation.

 REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Business Manufacturing or Operations.
5-10 years experience in lieu of education.
Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of overall fulfillment process (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Order Management, Supply Chain, Master Scheduling/Planning, Manufacturing, Sales, Inventory Operations, Planning, Distribution, Logistics) within a changeable and high tech manufacturing environment.
Experience leading transformation projects within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated proficiency in excel / access (data manipulation).

We are seeking a DFM Analyst

Responsibilities will include the following:

Liaison for Material Planning group and DFM engineering team.
Develop tools for lower level material commonality analysis.
Planning BOM (Bill of Material) structures and strategies.
Statistical modeling including lower level components safety stock guidelines to support lead time enablement.
